We are DS Designs.

Established in 2006 by designer Dominique Singer, DS Designs uses whimsy and a vintage aesthetic to combine Boho and Goth, light and dark, new and old. Since the beginning, Dominique has embraced a concept of eco-friendly, upcycled products that breathe new life into old garments. Where most would see floor scraps, Dominique sees a phoenix rising from the ashes – one man’s trash can be made into another woman’s fashion masterpiece.

As a plus sized woman of color, Dominique sees past fashion industry stereotypes and believes in the right for every woman to have beautiful, unique clothes that fit both her body and her spirit. Custom sizing, handmade quality and superior service are things that all people deserve.

DS Designs has had products shown in film and TV and on display at some of LA’s most fashionable events – but we stand for the belief that everyone is a celebrity in their own story. We strive not to show you what we believe that story should look like, but to help write that story with you.
